Why you should care about travel website Caroline's Rainbow Foundation.

Love Travelling?

Caroline's Rainbow Foundation is a website dedicated to giving travel advice and news, sharing travel stories, and promoting travel awareness and safety. The app is absolutely free and it gives general advice as well as information on specific countries and cities.

The foundation's founder, Richard Stuttle, began the charity in 2002. Read the full story here. Since then, he's been helping travellers, whether on gap year, study abroad or on holiday, with travel safety awareness and advice.

Travel Stories

If you like travelling and you're looking for some inspiration, check out the foundation's travel stories section written by volunteers who have interesting tales to tell about their travels. There are also videos and articles about Teddy's trips across the world - check them out for some ideas.

The Free App

The foundation app features a country search option so you can find appropriate information about the country you're travelling to. The app includes information about where to go and where not to go (dangerous areas), emergency service information including the location of hospitals and police stations. It makes sense to download the app - it's free, useful and you'll probably use it whilst you're out and about. The app is available for iPhone and iPad.
