When is the right time to visit Nepal

September to December
September - December is the best time to visit Nepal. The weather is moderate - not so hot and not so cold; and the mood is festive because of the onset of the greatest festivals of Nepalese - Dashain and Tihar. This is the time when the rivers will be flowing with cold water and the mountains will be seen shining in the dawn sunlinght. The rare cute animals are out and this is the time when everyone can see those endangered animals riding on an elephant.

Things To Do in Nepal

Must experience activities in Nepal
As a mountainous country, Nepal has some fast flowing swift rivers, dangerous gorges, deep valleys, snow-capped mountains and many other natural assets. The only bird found in the whole world - Spiney Babbler is found in the Sagarmatha National Park of Nepal. The only elephant breeding center in the whole world has been a boon to preserve the rare species and biodiversity.

  • Hiking
  • Jungle and Safari
  • Mountain Flights
  • Paragliding
  • Bungee Jumping

When not to visit Nepal

January to April
Although Nepal is evergreen all the time, it is best to visit Nepal in September - November. January - April should be avoided because it is the peak time for load-shedding, the environment is dusty and windy and the trees of the national parks are left with no leaves at all. The rare animals are inside their home, so it is best not to visit Nepal in January - April. Neither is it the right time for jungle safari, nor for trekking.
