Must have essentials when you go on Safari...Very Important Stuff

Items:

Summer’s hot and sweaty, so sturdy sandals or approach shoes are better than boots.
Footwear. Summer’s hot and sweaty, so sturdy sandals or approach shoes are better than boots.

Clothing. Capestorm shirts and trousers, they are rugged enough to handle the bush and fireside nights.

Day Pack. Opt for a comfortable fit, hydration facility, zip-secure compartments and rip-stop material able to withstand the assault of a thousand thorn bushes.

Gaiters. Wear these on grassland hikes.

Binoculars. Opt for a light-weight model with good magnification, like the Leica range of binoculars.
