Bangladesh is a small and peaceful country. It has God gifted natural beauties. Cox's Bazar sea beach is one of them. Including the sea beach, it has some other attractive and tourist places. This district has an island 'Sent Martin' with full of natural beauties, a stream with cool water flow named 'Himchori', Inani sea beach, Dulahazra Safari park, Kutubdia light house, Buddha and Hindu temple, Dorianagar tourist place and so on.

World's Longest Cox's Bazar Sea Beach

The Cox's Bazaar sea beach is one of the world's uninterrupted sea beach. It has 125 km unbroken sandy sea beach with gentle slope. It is situated about 150 km south from the industrial port Chittagong and from the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, it is situated in the south-east corner.


Cox's Bazar sea beach has an easy transportation system. Visitors can go there through road, air and water way from the capital city Dhaka and also from the port city Chittagong of Bangladesh. By bus or Train, it may take 5/6 hours from Dhaka. There are air conditioned luxury buses and chair coach bus transport system available. Train journey is also safe. By air, visitors also can visit with a reasonable cost from Dhaka and also from Chittagong.

Hotels and Restaurants

Visitors can get many hotels and motels in Cox's Bazar. They can stay there with cheap cost according to the services. Some hotels are just beside the sea beach. Some of the secured and well protective government and non-government hotels are: Hotel Shoibal, Motel Probal, Motel Upol, Laboni, Dream Land and so on. Tourists can also stay in the port city, Chittagong as the transport is easy to Cox's Bazar. They will get international standard five stars, four stars, three stars and cheap hotels in Chittagong. Recently, there is a new five stars hotel built. The name of the five stars hotel is 'Radisson Blue Bay View Hotel'.


Recently, Cox's Bazar is one of the most visited tourist destination in Bangladesh because of its security. It has yet to become a major international tourist destination for its lack of publicity. Recently, the Bangladesh Government formed the Tourist Police Unit to give better security specially for the local and foreign tourists with the nature and wildlife of the tourist areas. So, the international tourists can visit and enjoy their spare time in this Cox's Bazar sea beach and other natural beauties surrounding this place.

Other places to visit in Cox's Bazar

There are some other places to visit in Cox's Bazar. Tourists can enjoy the beauties of these. Some of them are: Chunoti wildlife sanctuary which is full of varieties of natural beauties and animals, long forest areas in Padua, Bangabandhu Safari Park with several wild animals, the Naf river at the border of Bangladesh and Myanmar in Cox's Bazar and so on.
