Talk about the carriers taking you there. Some reps of their so called national carriers cheat you as they want to make a quick buck.
Now, with regard to planning, if the plane is late, there is no way you can visit these places as the connecting flights are always certainly on time. In other words, you cannot book in advance but have to wait till you land out there to make a decision.
Now Disneyland is great but if you want to get the latest stuff go to USA or Europe as I personally saw stuff which was the rage of 2014 still being sold as stuff of 2017.
Now with regard to food, excellent cuisine but learn the dialect to get the right meat. Now I would recommend the poultry as the best.
Now the rest of it is negligible as the travel experience is the first impression of the land.
Just make sure Hong Kong is not raining as the Buddha statue is very high up in the mountains and the place can be covered by low clouds.
Any questions about why this first time tourist to this land didn't feel like stepping out of their airport??? It is because the airlines cheated her and robbed her child's school fees as they colluded with the security team of Auckland and despite granting the baggage allowance went back on their word and robbed $300 and then got stroppy with the first passenger to check in thereby making her the last person and threatening her as well.
Now that is no Welcome to Hong Kong it is guess what we cheat and we will fleece you more as we know you are a tourist and money is of importance to us.
Well I decided never to come again to Hong Kong because of this and honestly, travelling that route gave me the maximum stress in my entire flying life since the age of eight.

This was the only country I had not visited in the APAC region and it hurt me that the airlines cheat and pride themselves as the National carrier. You should read the email I sent them midair because of their cheap service. They collude with the ground crew to make money in Auckland.
I travel many different airlines and routes but this journey by far is the worst.
