An Interesting way to sight see, awaits tourists at this getaway coastal town of Mombasa.Read about the way you must travel, once you get there.

Mombasa

Mombasa is the Coastal town of Kenya, known for its warm sandy beaches all year round. For those who have visited this town, rich culture and breath taking sites, have kept them coming back for more.

Tourists have been oriented to different tastes of food, clothes and travel, with the latter being an experience worth their while.

Tuk-tuks

Tuk-tuks are the way to travel in this town.Though not exclusive to Kenya, these three wheeled motorised vehicles offer a unique scenic experience through the city streets and its attractions .

A cabin at the front for the driver, and a seating for three at the back, totals its capacity to a maximum of four people.Travelling in these open ended vehicles provide the right kind of ventilation and covering from direct heat.

Cost

Tuk-tuks are very cost effective with the price ranging from Kenya shillings 50-100 for a ride to any place within the town and its environs. This price is not charged per head, but per distance traveled making it very cost effective in cases where one travels with a friend or two.The driver is also at your disposal, taking you where you please.

Tuk-tuks are able to manuover through traffic faster because they are small in size .They are provide a source of livelyhood for many youths in this part of the country and are readily available to take you where you want to go, twenty four hours a day, all year round.

conclusion

The small size of these motorized vehicles allows them to penetrate the deep parts of the town and can be taken as an alternative to walking.Visiting this coastal town of Kenya,is the only way I can guarantee the full experience of this means of transport.Visit Mombasa and travel like you never have.
