The natural caves of Kailash Dham temple

The article speaks about the extraordinary caves of the Kailash Dham temple in Jalore. There are different forms of Shiva Lingam inside the caves.

Kailash Dham temple.

The Kailash Dham temple is a beautiful Lord Shiva temple situated in Jalore in Southern Rajasthan where many pilgrims come to offer puja.

Caves.

The caves inside the Kailash Dham temple at Jalore are fascinating. The visitors offer their puja inside the cave.

Jyotirlingas

The twelve jyotirlingas are exhibited inside the cave. It includes the Somnath shiblinga, the Mallikarjuna linga, mahakaleshwar lingam at Ujjain inside the cave.

Other jyotirlingas

The other jyotirlingas include the following. The Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga in MP, the Kedarnath linga in Kedarnath, the Bhimashankar linga in Pune are the other ones.

The other jyotirlingas are as following. The Kashi Viswanath linga of Varanasi, trimbakeshwar linga of Nasik, the Vaidyanath linga of Parli are the other ones.

The other jyotirlingas are as following. The Aundha Nagnath linga at Hingoli, the Rameshwar lingam at Rameshwar, the Ghusmeshwar linga of Aurangabad are the other lingas.

Outer idol.

The great idol of Lord Mahadeva of Kailash Dham temple is outstanding. It is huge in size and pilgrims flock to offer puja.

Surrounding.

Extensive tile work had been done around the main temple. Visitors and pilgrims are supposed to work a long way to enter the temple.

Ganesha temple.

There is a ganesha temple devoted to Lord Ganesha besides the Kailash Dham Shiva temple. Pilgrims offer puja in this temple as well.

Time.

Generally puja is offered during the shravan, and bhadra months of the year ranging between August and September.

Weather.

The weather in Jalore is pleasant in September end. It is neither very hot nor cold with a sunny weather which pilgrims enjoy.

Darkness.

The caves are dark and the form of the lingas are exhibited where the devotees offer puja in Kailash Dham temple.
