The islands of Dodecanese are located in the southern Aegean sea and are big islands rich in history and beauty. This Islands were invaded by the Italians in World war II to keep there weapons and other things they had.

List of the Dodecanese Islands

The islands of Dodecanese are the following: Patmos, Agathonisi, Leipsi, Leros, Kalumnos, Kos, Astupalaia, Nisiros, Tilos, Simi, Xalki, Rodos, Karpathos, Kasos and Kastelorizo. This islands were invaded by the Italians at World war II and still today the islanders have left everything untouched from the Italians, the venetian structures and even the language. Today The Dodecanese Islands are full of history and museums all around the island waiting for tourists to hit in summertime, the islanders never go out of tourists and provide them with everything from tours to hotels and other necessities. The Dodecanese are wonderful for touring around either by cycling or sea taxis, they are wonderful especially during summertime and fall too, they are very beautiful islands with a lot of meaning and tourist attractions.
