The land of piano in the South East Asia. Where is it?

The Piano Island

It is so fascinating the different places around the globe. You may be surprised that a certain small town in China was called Piano Island. I had known this while having a sensible conversation with my friend. At first, I was skeptical and manage to investigate for myself. I am not questioning the credibility of his statement; I just need to answer the doubts running at the back of my head. For some, you might also practice the wisdom of imagination.

The Piano Island is situated in the province in southern China: Xiamen, Fujan. One of the tourist destination, we all known that this country had shown uniqueness in their culture and practices. The land area is also known as Gulayu Island. The island is claimed to be a traffic-free island. That’s an ideal place to relax, no traffic jams to be seen. It is a desirable get away place to visit and spend time looking around the beauty of the island. It sounds like a hidden island that needs to be preserved for the younger generation to see.

Based on the historical event of this place, Gulangyu became popular with the exhibits from piano museum. In turn, it is associated as the Town of Pianos or The Island of Music. According to my informant, most of the residents have pianos. During the old days, children were trained to play pianos and eventually inclined to use this instrument. If we think it over, Xiamen is basically a peaceful island who loves playing piano.

It is inevitable to ponder the moment of conversation with my acquainted friend. If they have great stories, then I anticipate discovering my own country. Since my country had been colonized by foreign and long before the declaration of Independence Day, we were influence with their culture and its practices. From within, I have the desire to explore the places with cultural differences and learn to take part in knowing the truth behind the random historical events took place in the area.

An imagination lingered into my spine, what does it feels if the local residents in Xiamen will play their piano at the same time. Then the island is like a music box and people around the globe could hear the peaceful play of their piano. It is just an idea; the word “what if” can be so powerful. As they said, playing any kind of instruments is genius. They can move our emotions to different levels. We cannot deny that whenever we listen to music, the inner feelings will come out naturally.
