The Ekdalia Evergreen club durga puja is famous in Kolkata. It is situated in South Kolkata near Gariahat More.

The theme of the Puja is related to Mandir or temple and Goddess Durga and other Gods inside the Pandal.

The idol of the Durga Goddess is very beautiful. For a number of years the idol used to be built by Ramesh Pal and his relatives.

The Puja pandal is also famous for internal decoration that can be seen on the ceilings and side walls of the puja.

There is excellent lighting done in the street adjoining the Edkalia Pandal. At night the devotees are fascinated with the lighting.

Many visitors and devotees visit the puja during the day to avoid the huge rush at night to see the lighting on the 4 days of puja.

During October, the weather of Kolkata also becomes pleasant. So it becomes easy to visit the mandap and offer puja to Durga Goddess.

There is a lot space in the area where the Durga Puja is held. There are famous pujas on both sides including Falguni Sangha and Singhi Park.
