Rafting in Nepal is one of the famous adventures who dare to do rapid fire in the river. Sum up all of our rafting describe in detail below. We include breakfast, lunch and dinner during the rafting.

Rafting in Nepal

Nepal is famous because of its amazing hills and treks, but those-in-the-know also rate it among the world's greatest destinations such as white water rafting. The rivers are clean and long, they are surrounded by magnificent mountain, jungle and mountain landscapes, the manuals are friendly and extremely proficient and prices are low. Rafting in Nepal is one of the best adventures in a lifetime. If you are looking for trust agency, I can recommend Popular Treks in Nepal.

One-day excursions from Kathmandu and Pokhara

If people are a brief time, searching for a fast thrill or have not attempted rafting earlier, a day excursion is your ideal alternative. Lunch, together with transport, is supplied (great dal bhat) in a river camp later.

Trishuli River

It is a wonderful bouncy river rafting in Nepal, however, the rapids are not too large, which makes this a perfect river for novices. The seas are normally quite hot, and by the river, fairly terraced farmland, nearby villages and exceptionally substantial hills can be viewed. While this river also flows between Kathmandu and Pokhara (the street runs parallel to it for a few of this way) and river trip ends close to the turn-off into Chitwan, it is possible to organize an onward transfer following the holiday pleasure, instead of returning to Kathmandu.

Bhote Koshi River

The Bhote Kosi was used to get a more ratable stretch, but because of a significant landslide in 2014, just a briefer section stays navigable. Nonetheless, there's enough for lots of fun for a few hours and the water is refreshing and cool -- especially great for the warmer months. You will find river decks across the road here to stay at night if you want (although be warned that they become active -- and dumb -- together with partying Kathmandu pupils on the weekends).

Seti River

At 90 minutes, excursions on the Seti rafting really are somewhat shorter than the choices from Kathmandu, but it is a whole lot more accessible, at just a 30-minute push off. Additionally, it is chock, of course, three and four rapids and includes magnificent views of the Annapurna and candy.

Multi-day excursion

With additional hours in Nepal, multi-day excursions that go deep into the wilderness could be obtained, letting rafters to find the wide variety of the Nepali landscape and also invest time camping on white-sand river shores. Everybody receives a personal tent (or may sleep beneath the stars) and the manuals do an excellent job cooking yummy and wholesome dishes on campfires.

Tamur river

Two of Nepal's greatest activities -- hiking and rafting -- come together about the Tamur River excursion. The rapids on this river are rather challenging, so they're best suited to individuals with a white water rafting experience in Nepal.

Best time to go

Sometimes, the weather is at its finest, being sexy but not uncomfortably so, and there is usually no or minimal rainwater levels are still an essential element for white water rafting. At the spring, water levels are often very low, as of the moment, it's become the longest since the heavy rains of monsoon. On certain rivers (including the Bhote Kosi) the stream can be somewhat reduced, meaning it is common to get trapped on the stones! This is not typically a significant issue but may be a hassle and slow down the pleasure. The end on several rivers (including the Karnali) could be a hassle in this year, also.
This can result in some exciting rapids -- occasionally somewhat too exciting sooner in the summer (approximately September)!

Average Expenses

Whitewater rafting is quite good value in Nepal. Even though a 10-day excursion in the USA could cost a few thousand dollars, a comparable trip in Nepal is much more in the $800-1,200 range. This includes all meals, tent hire, gear and ground transport. Day trips cost approximately $70, such as lunch and transportation.
It is the usual practice for clients to invite their guides/porters to share a farewell dinner and exchange a khata (ceremonial scarf) if you have been happy with the service provided by the guide a tip is given. Relive your experiences of the rafting around the dinner table and enjoy your last night.
Once in a lifetime you are here so don’t waste your time to be the one adventure to boost Everest trek.
