If you love Cornwall, surfing, history and relaxation, this is a holiday for you!

Cornwall.

Cornwall is beautiful. Its ragged coastline is totally mesmerising and it seems to have the most powerful healing properties. It heals the soul. It allows you to stretch your eyes to the end of the horisont, which is an experience worth more than the most expensive alternative healing session. It awakes your senses and makes you feel alive again.

The Old School House

The Old School House is in Poundstock near Bude. It is run by a lady called Maureen, very friendly, very helpful and very clean. You get to stay in an annex, or 'granny flat' attached to her house. It is clean, well equipped and warm. You get your own garden and on arrival Maureen provides you with fresh bread, milk and eggs, just in case you have arrived too late to go shopping...it's very thoughtful and sweet.
The annex is lovely. You are allowed to bring a dog, on the condition that you tell Maureen about your intention in advance. She doesn't charge extra for the dog.

Black Rock

Just round the corner, well...a very short drive away is The Black Rock beach, great for surfers, dogs, families, kids...anyone. \\it's busy, but not too busy, and it's very interesting with its rockpools, surfers, providing hours or entertaining, clean sand and lovely beach shop which sells everything from buckets and spades to cream teas and Cornish pasties. It's great and really worth visiting!
