Bangalore is considered to be garden city of India due to the fact it is green. The city has a number of gardens. But Lalbagh is one of most prominent gardens which are also a great tourist destination.

Kempe Gowda 1, the founder of Bangalore had the credit of building the Lalbagh. The garden was commissioned by Hyder Ali in 1760. The entire garden comprises of 240 acres and more than 1000 species of plants and flowers are there inside the garden. Every year two annual flower shows are held in Lal Bagh. There is a lovely Sheesh Mahal inside the Park. The sheesh mahal is full of glasses and the reflections create a heavenly atmosphere.

There is an artificial cliff created in the same bagh from where the entire city of Bangalore is visible. There are stalls where snacks and soft drinks are sold near the cliff.

There is a brilliant hmt clock at the centre of the Lal Bagh which is run by Solar Energy. The other attractions of the green city include the Vidhan Soudha, the Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Vishwesharaya Industrial and Technological museum, etc. Visitors should visit the garden city of India which is the pride of South India and also entire country.

Viswesharaya Industrial and Technological Museum.

The Visweshwaraya Industrial and Technological Museums attract every sections of the society. Even children and adults who dont have adquate background in science can love the museum.

There is a section relating to flights, aeroplanes and aerial vehicles. An artificial aeroplane is kept which attract children a lot.

Even the section relating to dinosaurs and pre-historic period attracts the viewers a lot.

The museum is very well maintained and adds to the beauty of Bangalore. Visitors should visit Bangalore once in their lifetime.

Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace

Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace is a brilliant Tourist Destination of Bangalore. The Palace has two floors which are well decorated. Besides the Palace, a huge garden full of colourful flowers add dimension to the historical monument. The grass in the garden is cut also regularly to maintain the greenery of the place.

The amazing fact of Bangalore is that, the city is considered to be one of the most green metros in the country. It had been successful to maintain the greenary for the last 25 years. Lalbagh is maintained and cared a lot and that is the reason for the uniqueness of the garden.

In Bangalore, Tipu Sultan's summer palace is also maintained very well. Beside the actual palace, there is green field with flowers which are well maintained.

Due to maintenance of greenary in the city Bangalore does not have extreme heat or extreme cold. The weather is generally pleasant all across the year.
