A vacation to Yellowstone Park can be as simple as hopping on a plane. Karst Stages of Bozeman, Montana will pick you up at the airport, take your to a motel of your choice and pick you up in the early morning for a spectacular tour of Yellowstone Park.

Introduction

As the temperatures and humidity rise during the dog days of summer and Early Fall, think about a fly n’ ride escape to Montana. Karst Stages in Bozeman, Montana will pick you up at Gallatin Airport and take you to your motel in Livingston or Bozeman. You can enjoy the local sights and great food in the area, but the fun has just started. Each day from May though October Karst Stages offers day trips to Yellowstone Park. Karst Stages has daily bus tours of Yellowstone Park from May to October.

Yellowstone Park Day Trip

Karst Stages provides an air conditioned modern tour bus for your Yellowstone Park excursion. The daily schedule is posted on the Karst Stages website and brochure. The tour departs from your motel early morning and you arrive back around 7:15 P.M.

Highlights of Yellowstone Adventure

The Karst Stages Yellowstone day adventure includes a ride through the Gallatin Valley to the West Yellowstone entrance. The bus makes coffee and bathroom stops along the route to world renowned Old Faithful. Guests spend two-hours of fun at Old Faithful and the unparalleled ecosystem of Yellowstone. There is plenty of time to shop and grab a bite to eat before the next leg of the adventure begins.

Guests travel to West Thumb Geyser and Lake Yellowstone for a view of the most scenic area of Yellowstone Park. The region was aptly name West Thumb by early explorers because it looks like the hot pool geyser are a thumb of the massive Lake Yellowstone. While the geyser activity is minimal compared to other areas in the park and from an historical reference, it is a microbial masterpiece for scientists. Guests enjoy a thirty-minute rest stop at the exquisite Lake Hotel.

Before heading back to Livingston or Bozeman, guests enjoy the scenic drive to Canyon Village, the Upper and Lower Falls of the Yellowstone Rive and the spectacular Mammoth Hot Spring region. This is truly the most hassle-free enjoyable way to catch the highlights of Yellowstone Park.

Costs & Fees

The 2010 cost per passenger for the Karst Stages Yellowstone Adventure is $85 roundtrip. Children ages 3 to 12 receive a 50-percent discount and children under age 3 are free. The National Park fee is $12 per person or a family rate of $25 is not included in the Karst Stages fee schedule.

Personal Recommendations

Summer in Yellowstone is exhilarating, but Fall is a personal favorite of mine. Early Autumn in Yellowstone has crispness in the air. Cooler temperatures and foliage changes can occur in late September and early October. Another big feature of traveling after Labor Day is the reduced number of motorized tourists that returns Yellowstone to her natural scenic wonder. .
