Bangalore, the garden city is fascinating.

Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, and garden city has the highest greenery in India. The city is very well maintained.


Lalbagh is a very famous tourist destination of Bangalore.Hyder Ali, the father of Tipu Sultan commissioned it in the year 1760.


More than thousand species of flowers and plants adorn Lalbagh. Kempe Gowda 1 built the towers of the garden in Lalbagh.

Flower shows.

A number of flower shows are held every year in Lal Bagh. The best types of flowers are exhibited in Lal Bagh both for the local residents and the tourists.

Sheesh Mahal

There is a brilliant Sheesh Mahal within Lalbagh. The brilliant glasses within the Park are very well maintained and tourists enjoy the ambience to a great extent.

The hill.

There is an artificial hill in the Lalbagh itself. Visitors can climb the hill. The entire city of Bangalore is visible from there.

Solar HMT Clock

There is a brilliant solar HMT Clock at the entrance of Lalbagh. The clock works by the effect of solar energy.

Yeshwantpur Express.

The train Yeshwantpur Express carries travellers from Kolkata to Bangalore. The station of Bangalore is very well maintained. There are radio taxis which take the visitors from the station to the hotels and lodges.


There are many good hotels in the vicinity of Bangalore station. Visitors can even have breakfast in the local restaurants.

Pavana Hotel

Pavana Hotel is a very good tourist lodge near the Yestwantpur Railway station. It is situated in the main road itself.

The ambience

The ambience of Pavana Hotel is excellent. The behaviour of staff of the hotel is also very cordial. They are very polite.

The terrace.

The terrace, the rooms, the capsule lifts, everything within the hotel is very well maintained. Visitors who stay there once fall in love with the staff.

Tipu Sultan Palace.

The Tipu Sultan's summer palace is a good tourist spot. It was built in 1791 and it is located very close to the KR Market.

The lawn.

The lawn of the palace is very well maintained. The lawn is absolutely green. Visitors can spend long period of time within the palace.

The flowers

The flowers are very well maintained within the palace. Regular watering keeps them in right shape and size.

The Vidhan Soudha.

The Vidhan Soudha or Assembly House in Bangalore is very impressive.is a mixture of Rajasthani Jharokha and Dravidian style of architecture. It was planned by Kengal Hanumanthiah and built by Chief Engineer B.R. Manickam.

The Vishweshwarya Industrial and Technological Museum.

The Vishweshwarya Industrial and Technological Museum is very impressive.The ground floor contains models of engines of trains, flights, etc.


The upper floors contain history related to pre-historic animals. There are models of dinosaurs within the museum.

Silk Emporium.

Bangalore is famous for silk emporiums. Silk sarees from Bangalore and Mysore are exported to different parts of the world.

Forests around Bangalore.

The Madhumalai Forest is very close to Bangalore. if visitors want they can go for 2 hours drive and experience the fun of visiting forests.

November is the best time.

November and December are the best period to visit Bangalore. All the tourist spots including the Bull Temple can be seen in a pleasant weather, neither hot, nor cold.
