A look at how delhites view their own citizens and infra

Delhi & Delhites

Have been travelling to some parts of Asia lately and having the chance to see different cultures spanning from the carefree and loving people of Vietnam to the religiously disciplined set of people in Saudi Arabia.

India & specially Delhi falls in the middle of the cultural diagonal from Hanoi to Riyadh! physically as well as culturally. The strange thing about this city is the lack of compassion it has towards it fellow beings. Rarely will you find people treating each other with such in difference as in Delhi. You try to cross a road , and you will notice that car drivers on the road will accelerate their speed! as if rushing in to kill you.
the supposed metro culture also breeds some sort of low frequency here. Women are looked at as objects. I see ogling men all around me passing smiles and quips.
I have not been able to spot the genesis of this behavior, but this city exudes lack of trust.

Political hub, trade hub, and what not, The city has one of the best infrastructures that India can boast of. The metro works like the War Horse! & is something to be proud of.
The Bus network in Delhi is another achievement which keeps the city chugging.
The Police of Delhi also works quite efficiently and maintains its presence at all critical locations.

There are lots of places to see around and Delhi connects well to most of North India and its hill stations and the desert of Thar.
