Just a few of the MANY beautiful places to visit if you happen to be in north Alabama.

Buck's Pocket n Fyffe, Alabama

Buck’s Pocket in Fyffe, Alabama has miles of beautiful woods. Walks ways to go look out over the edge of Sand Mountain, and for overnight stays they have plenty of campground room for tents and campers. Makes a great destination for day trips or hiking, and is an excellent spot for pictures or Weddings. And most important!! It is FREE to visit!

Noccalulu Falls in Gadsden, Alabama

Noccalula Falls, located in Gadsden Alabama, with the stunning 90 ft waterfall, and the rich history behind it, it is sure to be a family favorite!! While it is free to see the falls themselves they have a park with many attractions such as; an unlimited train ride around the park, a petting zoo for kids, and a chance to walk behind the falls as seen in the picture above, and all for only $6! Great deal for someone passing through wanting to shows their kids the beauty nature has to offer!

Desoto State park in Ft.Payne and Mentone, Alabama

Desoto Falls State Park spreads over Ft. Payne and Mentone Alabama and even goes into Georgia! With numerous waterfalls, one of which plummets 100 ft. to a beautiful pool of water. They also have a park resturant that the whole family can enjoy, playgrounds, campsights, over 20 miles of hiking trails, with cabins and lodging available for people that want to stay and enjoy all the park has to offer and is coviniently located very close to town if you have any other needs!

I encourage anyone that enjoys nature and the history behind it to visit any and all of these places. I can assure you it will be a trip you will never forget!
