After reading my last post many of you were thinking that author should have written more about the town. There was no description about how to reach this town. Thus, this is the post which will answer the entire questions about transport available to reach Baraut.

Welcome to Baraut

In India, Baraut is a township in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh state. This town is located at Delhi – Saharanpur highway. If you are a fan of nature then the idea of visiting this town is really a good one. This place is around 70 Km away from Delhi, capital of India. This place is famous for wheels and axles manufacturing unit. If you are interested in studying agriculture then this place is for you. Come to our town which is the diamond of Western Uttar Pradesh.

How to reach there

Coming Baraut in Bus: Well, if you are coming in Bus from Delhi, the capital of India, then following are important terminals for you. Please make a note of them as per your journey.
Maharana Pratap I.S.B.T., Delhi
Loni Depot, Loni
You need to look for Bus to Shamli-Saharanpur. Nowadays, there are fewer buses from I.S.B.T., Delhi.

Coming Baraut in Train: Train journey is certainly a good idea. This town is on Delhi – Shamli – Saharanpur Railway line. Thus, you have only one track to follow. You can come from Delhi and Saharanpur via train. From Delhi, you need to catch the train from Old Delhi Railway Station. Here, you need to take ticket for Baraut and remember to get in the train which is going to Shamli – Saharanpur.

Commuting in Baraut

This is a small town, thus commuting in this town will not be a big issue for you. You can easily walk through the streets. Well, like other towns in India, this town does have several mode of transportation for commuting in the town.

You can have rickshaw from any point. At all the terminals like Delhi Road, Meerut Bus Stand and Railway station you will see rickshaw stands. Charges of these rickshaws are also nominal. Baraut does have e-rickshaw available for commuting in town. You can have this e-rickshaw from Railway station and Delhi Road. They will also charge around 10-20 rupees.

Those who love to have some exercise while commuting in this town can go for this option. There are shops in main market area from where you can have bi-cycle on rent to make your commuting easy.

Well, for most of us in the tow walking is the best option. Beside this, you can ask for lift too. People in this town are pretty helpful, thus you will surely get someone to help you.

I think visiting India would be great, Baraut sounds like an interesting place, thank you for telling us more about it and for using pictures to enhance the article. My wife and I are both fans of nature, she would not go to a crowded city but would go to a more natural area.
