About the two flights which went missing during March and December, 2014 and the different possibilities regarding it.

Common aspects of Malaysian Airlines MH370 and AirAsia 8501 disappearance

With the disappearance of AirAsia Jetliner off the coast of Indonesia experts have already started comparing this incidence with the recent disappearance of Malaysian Airline MH370 during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. There are a couple of common factor among those two flights, first both Malaysian Airlines and AirAsia were run by Malaysia based airline and the second common factor was that neither of the flights issued a distress call or declared an emergency, before disappearing from radar. So could there be one same reason behind their disappearance or whether it was just a coincidence. Let's go deep and compare both these disaster on the basis of their timelines of events.

Malaysian Airlines MH370 disappeared suddenly from the the Malaysian radar and it took quite sometime for the Vietnamese Air Traffic controller to realize that MH370 had disappeared, hence the traffic controller in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam contacted the Malaysian controller about the current location of MH370. The crew member's on MH370 did not report any bad whether or distress prior to disappearing or losing contact from all traffic controllers. It was also noticed that MH370 kept on flying for almost 10 minutes before it dropped contact. The transponder of MH370 was turned off manually which further mystifies the incidence. On the other hand AirAsia 8501 which took off from Surabaya, Indonesia heading North and almost 40 minutes later it went missing from radar. The pilots of AirAsia 8501 did ask for changing the altitude and direction possibly due to the tropical thunderstorm around the location. Air traffic controller could not allow AirAsia the altitude they wanted to fly in as a different aircraft was flying in the desired altitude. Was this the primary reason for the disappearance of AirAsia 8501? most likely yes as the aircraft would have escaped the tropical thunderstorm which at times hit with the power of an atomic bomb. But what about the MH370, was it a first of it's kind Cyber Crime where an expert hacker gets control upon the autopilot features and takes away all the decision making power from the two pilots actually flying the plane. Well I don't see something coming out of the Mh370 disappearance and it is certainly heading towards becoming a historical unsolved mysteries.

As far as the search area is concerned one aviation expert was quoted saying that the Java Sea (AirAsia was flying over the java sea) will be far easier to search because the waters are much shallower and better known."It'll be easier because it's very well mapped. He also pointed out that the pilot of AirAsia had reported severe weather and asked to change altitude immediately before the plane vanished from radar."Since there was no emergency call from the crew, whatever happened, happened suddenly," he said. Flight controller last spoke to the Air Asia pilot at 6:13 and it was seen on radar until 6:16. One minute later it went missing. Whereas the MH370 was being searched around the deep Indian ocean which made the task more tuff for the rescue workers. Now that the AirAsia flight has been discovered the search of Black box would possibly answer the situation inside the cockpit as well as the communication between two pilots and the picture might get clear. The family members of MH370 can just hope for a miracle to happen if the whereabouts about the aircraft is revealed.
