Most Haunted Places in Arkansas

Crescent hotel in Eureka Springs is one of the most popular haunted places in Arkansas. People believe that a man fell from the roof at the time of construction and became a ghost. It was the richest spa up to 1900 since it was built in 1886. It was used as a junior college and an academy for rich young ladies during 1908 to 1934. Later it was bought by a doctor named Norman Baker in 1937. He was convicted for practicing medicine without license. Moreover AMA discredited him. Then he shifted his hospital services to Crescent Hotel. Many patients died due to his treatment and he buried their bones in the walls and floors of the hotel. Hence it is said that many ghosts are haunting the people who visit the people.

Another place that is considered as ghostly is the Forum Theater. Here you can find a mischievous ghost named Charlie. Many people reported that they saw him wandering from attic to basement in various costumes.

Billy’s bridge in Mena city is another ghostly place. Here strange lights appear under the bridge on dark lights. And most people claimed they heard some noises and strange voices, and rocks skipping across the water. On Rich Mountain, the ghost of a young woman is seen wandering the mountains in search of her family. A legend is told by the local people that she carries a lantern while searching.

North Little Rock is considered to be haunted by two ghosts: one is Albert Pike, the Confederate General in the late 19th century and another one is Old Mill. Majority of the people claimed that if you see through the gates you can see the lights and a rope hanging from the side of the building. Or you can the shadow of a man hanging in the loop.

So, next time you want a thrilling experience and are daring enough to see ghosts, visit these places.
