There are many ways to visit Sundarban. For the foreign visitors who are interested to visit Sundarban from the capital town of Bangladesh, Dhaka, there are many vehicles to visit it. Tourist can visit Sundarban by bus (chair coach, AC bus), water way, and air way also. But through air way they can go to Jessore airport from Dhaka and they need to take bus from there to reach Sundarban.
It would be easier for the visitors if they can visit Sundarban with the help of tourist guide or tourist organizations. There are many tourist organizations in Bangladesh. Visitors can contact with them easily by searching on internet.


Tourists, who will visit Sundarban with any tourist organizations, do not need to think about residence. The tourist organizations use to manage every necessary things for the visitors. There are many safe residential facilities near Sundarban. Any visitor can stay there safely with necessary protections.

Security in Sundarban.

The Bangladesh part of the forest lies under two forest divisions, and four administrative ranges viz Chandpai (Khulna District), Sarankhola (Khulna), and Burigoalini (Satkhira District) and has sixteen forest stations. It is further divided into fifty-five compartments and nine blocks.There are three wildlife sanctuaries established in 1977 under the Bangladesh Wildlife (Preservation) Order, 1973. Protected areas cover 15% of the Sundarban's mangroves including Sundarbans National Park and Sajnakhali Wildlife Sanctuary, in West Bengal, Sundarbans East, Sundarbans South and Sundarbans West Wildlife Sanctuaries in Bangladesh.
These administrative system can give proper protection to the visitors.

Cautions at the time of visiting Sundarban.

Visitors who are interested in catching a glimpse of the breathtaking wildlife of Bangladesh in Sundarban must first gain permission from the Forest Officer before entering the forest, and vaccines should be taken if necessary. Other recommended items for the trip include dressing according to the tropical climate, comfortable walking shoes or boots with rubber soles, sufficient drinking water, insect repellent, a medical kit, anti-diarrhea medication and anit-malarial medication is also suggested.
