Miller Park was completed for the 2001 season for the Milwaukee Brewers. Miller Park replaced an aging Milwaukee County Stadium which was in use from 1965- 2000. The stadium was built for baseball only with a retractable roof with a seating capacity of roughly a little over 48,000 fans. In this article I will mention more about the stadium and the some of the things that you can find in the ballpark and some of the things that went on there as well.


Miller Park has hosted plenty of baseball games since it was opened for the public in 2001. The stadium has hosted an All Star game in 2002, along with some playoff games in 2008 and 2011 seasons. Miller Park was used as neutral site for the Cleveland Indians playing against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in April of 2007 due to snow storms in northern Ohio. And due to Hurricane Ike in 2008 in Texas force the Houston Astros and the Chicago Cubs to move their two game series from Houston to Miller Park on September 14 and September 15. History was made during that series when Carlos Zambrano of the Chicago Cubs threw the first no-hitter in the history of the park against the Houston Astros on September 14.


Their was concerts that was held at Miller Park and some of them that preformed there was Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bon Jovi, Elton John and Billy Joel, 'N Sync and the George Strait Country Music Festival. Paul McCartney is scheduled to perform a concert later this year. Farm Aid’s 25th Anniversary concert on October 2, 2010 here, the first time the charity event was held at a major league stadium. Some of the people that preformed at the concert was Dave Matthews, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp to name a few.

Other Notables That Was Held At Miller Park

A few other things that Miller Park hosted was the United States Bowling Congress Masters finals that played there on October 28, 2007. The field was fitted with four bowling lanes for the bowling tournament.

Another thing that Miller Park has hosted was a premier showing of the documentary Honor Flight, which was about the World War II veterans that was flown to Washington D.C. on commercial flights and was paid for from donations and from a non- profit to make a pilgrimage to the National World War II Memorial. There was over 30,000 tickets sold for this event.

Parts of a movie "Mr. 3000" was shot at Miller Park. the movie start Bernie Mac. The movie was released on September 17, 2004.

Businesses Inside Miller Park

There are a couple of businesses that operate in Miller Park year round. The two businesses are Friday's Front Row and Brewers Team Store by Majestic. Both stores are great places to visit and to enjoy. A person would have it good while visiting these places, one to shop in and the other to get something to eat.

Facts About Miller Park

Here some of the facts about Miller Park to help some people who are planning to visit the stadium. The type of field that the players play on is grass. The seating capacity is 41,900. There is plenty of restrooms for everyone , there are 33 mens and womens restrooms. Also there are 30 permanent concession stands for everyone to get refreshments. Also if you lucky enough to to get into one to watch the game more power to you, there are 70 luxury suits in Miller Park. I went to a baseball game once in Boston. Had no idea of the rules but had a great day. Great write my friend and a well deserved star.
