Tourist Attractions Of Tempe
Memorial Union lies in the center of campus. If we go through this there is a fountain at the exit of the north door and another fountain is just right side of this building. You can view a pyramid like fountain between the College of Business and Memorial Union. Here three fountains are connected to the fourth one and their redbrick layered into steps which appear like a pyramid. Plenty of big trees are there for giving cool shade to the visitors who rest there for sometime on the benches.
A small rectangular fountain is found at the central courtyard of the Social Science building. You can observe many art displays and museums in addition to the fountains in campus while you are roaming in the campus.
Jackrabbit fountain is an amazing natural-look fountain found while going towards the Harkins Centerpoint Theater. This fountain is surrounded by the statues of three rabbits. You can touch these bronze statues, but climbing them is not allowed. Another amazing fountain is located in Hayden Square. This fountain drains and fills itself all the day as you walk in its small gazebo like entrance. The flooding down of water on the sides of this fountain makes sound a musical one.
Tempe Town Lake a 2.5-mile long lake has concrete foot paths that are ideal for walking, cycling and jogging. The south and north shores of this lake are joined by the Rural Road Bridge and Mill Avenue Bridge. There are many fountains in this town; each has its specialty. The city of Tempe has many other attractions with parks, fishing and boating activities and many more.
