This short prose describes a recent holiday of mine. I have tried to create this piece with adventure, intrigue and pace ... I hope you enjoy this short trip! :-)
"The Trip" by Montezumola
A land of legend and myth
Its history could be linked with that of the Sith
For those seeking the path of love and peace
Where natural wonders never seem to cease.
Atop a hill stands the grand pink house
Its occupants welcoming, the atmosphere inviting
Look at the surroundings, so very inspiring.
I settle into my temporary home
New roots are now being sown
Take a walk, explore the nearby castle
Traverse down, waste time on the beach
Watch the tide roll in, almost within reach.
I try in vain to slow down time
Savour the moment, the weather stays fine
The spring water flows into my heart
It beats so much better, what a clean start.
A chance encounter, with a close friend
A fate decreed, it did so send
Put quill to paper, a new tome needs writing
And how it shall be exciting.

Sounds like a great holiday, resulting in a great poem... This is a really nice share, Montezumola...
