Peacock Dance
Peacock dance is a dnew creation of Pasundan's dance. Created by Raden Tjetjep Somantri in the 1950s and re-made by dra. Irawati Durban in 1965.
Many people mistakenly think that if the dance is about life and happiness peahen, but the charm of this dance tells the story of a famous male peacock pansy to captivate the female.
The male will display the beauty of its tail feathers are long and colorful to attract the female heart. Gestures of the male that looks like a graceful dance to show the charm to her so that the female was fascinated and continue their mating rituals.
Each movement is full of meaning cheerful and happy, so the dance is often used as a dance of welcome gifts for guests or the groom to the wedding.
The costumes are colorful peacock with a distinctive accent and the most dominant characteristic of which is filled with sequin wings that can be stretched by the dancer with a graceful movement that adds to the charm of this dance, and the crown is decorated with a peacock's head is called as "singer" that would sway every time the dancer moves his head.

What lovely costumes. You know if you break this up in sections, you then can add a different photo in each section and also...
