Royal Rishop.
Amongst the different travel destinations Rishop stands out as a royal destination of North Bengal. The reason is the visibility of both Mount Everest and also the Kanchenjungha from the place. The entire world salutes the highest peaks for their brilliant scenic beauty.
Altitude.
Rishop is situated at 8500 feet above sea level. It had not been very popular tourist destination to the incapacity of a lot of hotels to provide adequate electricity. Due to the extreme cold, during December and January, electric heaters and room heaters are a general necessity.
Roads.
The roads in Rishop are at their nascent stage. Many are in the process of construction. Gypsies, Savories and Omnis are very popular vehicles which reach the tourists to the brilliant destination.
Sonar Bangla Hotel.
Hotel Sonar Bangla is one of the brilliant hotels in the place having excellent ambience. Tour operators like North Bengal Tours and Travels and many other operators of the region guide tourists to travel to the brilliant destination. There is a brilliant lawn and park adjoining Sonar Bangla hotel.
Tiffindara.
Both Mount Everest and Kanchenjungha can be visible from Tiffindara, a great peak near Rishop. Both the peaks are visible on a clear sunny day.
Weather.
The weather of Rishop is very cold. Travellers should carry sweaters, pullovers, jackets with them to face the weather. There is lot of fog and mist also in the area. But the fog gives of Godly atmosphere for all the visitors. Visitors should visit Rishop once in their lifetime.
Connections.
Visitors can go by train from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri Station. From there they can go on roadways. If people want they can get flights from Dum Dum Airport to Bagdogra Airport. From there buses, handas, jeeps can take the visitors to Rishop.

The roads are required to be improved for better transportation in Rishop. The serenity of the place haunts everyone.
