Users are prohibited from engaging in activities that harm the security of computer information networks and from using networks or changing network resources without prior approval.”
At first glance everything is rationally but in reality web filters that block inappropriate content are absolutely mad.
Facebook, Twitter, Google, Youtube, LiveJoutnal, many forums and tones of others world’s popular websites are not available from China.
How to bypass Chinese firewall
There are many different kinds of filters but most of them are based on the IP address. IP is an Internet Protocol address. This is a special numerical label assigned to each device in a computer network. Usually it indicates your location. And now attention please! The point is that your real IP address can be hidden and instead of it you can show USA, Canada, Europe or any other IP address and this means that you can bypass China’s proxy.

After penning one article on Triond about Facebook China has become my number 1 source of readership at 50+%, up from about 1% (replacing the USA - which moved from 50+% down to 25%). Evidently the Chinese are getting through the system and connecting with the outside world.

i think proxies are the easiest way to go! havent heard or tried any VPNs tho...

LOL i'm guessing you've probably heard about this already but proxies are one of the EASIEST and fastest ways to get around the firewall :) they're free servers online that make your location anonymous, so the firewall can't detect where you're streaming from.
i was in china myself this past summer and used proxies, it was super easy and worked like a charm ! and seriously, i am no pro hacker or programmer, I'm just a normal kid! and if i cud use proxies, im sure just about anyone can.
