Discover heaven on earth. Definitely a place to see.
Bora Bora "Pearl of The Pacific"
Superlatives are not enough to describe the beauty of this place. No wonder, it is one of the famous tourist destinations in the world. I, myself is inlove with its indescribable (read as no word could ever explain) “loveliness”. When no words could describe, silence is the best description, (much for blah, blah, blah!) Just take a look at the "pictures" as they depict thousand indescribable words…
Located in French Polynesia, an overseas territory of France, in South Pacific Ocean, 3,000 km (2,000 mi) south of Hawaii and halfway between New Zealand to the west and South America to the east.
The name Bora-Bora comes from the Tahitian Pora Pora, meaning “First Born.” Bora-Bora is one of the oldest islands in its chain. It was formed 7 million years ago by two volcanoes that rose from the ocean floor. Like all the other Polynesian islands, this volcanic island is slowly sinking in the ocean.
