Waking up at 6 a.m , stretching up, and quickly dressing up this morning!!! Can’t wait to feel Balinese morning in the full green scenery at Mangrove forests -Mangrove Information Center (MIC), Denpasar!!
The entrance fee for domestic visitor is IDR 10000/person (march 2012). With a friendly smile, we are guided to enter the forest. It is so quite inside the mangrove forest, all I can hear is just a voice of nature.
Walk Way The Green
There is a wooden walkway inside the forest and it makes us can see all the scenery around without getting muddy LOL. Do not wear high-heels !! Total span of the walkway is about 2 kilometers through plantations and natural stands of mangrove.
The Mangrove Welcome!
There are many types of mangroves here with the information display for each type. There are also many types of bird, crustaceans, and reptiles you can find in MIC. They say that water Snake and Monitor Lizard may request you a bit of luck to meet them. And today, I don’t see any of those guys hahaha.
The Cuttie Intrepid Fiddler Crabs
Didn't see the Lizard doesn't mean I'm not lucky today Lol. I meet many colorful fiddler crabs with their unsymmetric tweezers. How interesting to see the fiddler crabs playing! Also, there are some birds flying when we walk across the forest. The wooden walkway does not only make it ease for walk, but give us many chances to encounter various unique creatures. I just think How lucky I am to be here in this awesome morning!!! ^^
Favourite Background
This is my picture with the mangrove. I really love the scenery behind me, it is so green hahaha, that's why I include this photo here though!
Anyway, if you are tired to walk, there will be some huts for resting and also a Sunbird tower, do take a rest, watching the birds and the scenery around! It’s awesome!
After an hour walk of the Mangrove Trail, we decide to go home, preparing for the next trip! MIC is a great place to get relax, to be involved with the nature. So, if you are stressful now, take some walk in MIC hahaha.
