One of the famous tourism location due to its historical story, Malacca. Main attraction historical of its, the A'Famosa fortress left since long time ago by Portuguese.
A'famosa, Malacca
When people mentioned about Malacca, most people will think of historical story of Malacca. Now, the main most famous historical building that left is the A Formosa fortress and some of the traditional culture that has been left from the past.
A Famosa fortress was built by Portuguese fleet which led by Afonso de Albuquerque, after they have successfully conquered Malacca Sultanate. Afonsobelieved that Malacca would become an important port for trading between countries, especially linking Portugal to the spice trade from China.
But in year 1641, when the Dutch has successfully drove the Portuguese out of Malacca, the A''ortress was occupied by them and it was renovated. Then in early of 19th century, it was again changed hands when Dutch handed it over to British and it was ordered its destruction after that, leaving only the small gate of the fortress.
Now, only that small gate of fortress left was left from the past. As its historical story of legendary A'Famosa fortress, now it leads to the grow of tourism in Malacca.
Malacca now is known as the red town in Malaysia and it is a tourism location that full with history. It has a few attractions, such as the flowery tricycle ride and snake performance.
